How can i convert AVI using DVD Fab?

I'm using DVD Fab 8.0.0.2 and i'm not looking to upgrade. I have a TV series (The Colony) saved on my computer and the properties says the file type is Video Clip (.avi). I'm looking to burn these files onto a DVD that i could watch on my DVD player. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do this? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
