Why get married if you want to remain promiscuous?

I have a co-worker that admits to cheating on his fiance with mutliple women. His motto is "cheating is only cheating if u get caught". He's not a faithful person and is getting married to his girlfriend this wknd. Why bother getting married? Why not remain single so that you don't end up hurting someone?
