Can my bird be next to my mom who has shampoo in her hair?

OK, so my mom is going thru all her stuff and decided to put all the storage in my room, and shes about 5 feet away from my bird cage, and she just got out the shower, and I can smell her shampoo as soon as I walkin the room.. is this bad for the bird? because I know they cant be around certain stuff..
