The role of nursing also involves stress on the job. One form of conflict often mentioned is goal-oriented relieving patient stress. This can be stressful for a nurse because she is expected to have certain goals or interventions completed by a certain time. Also nurses have to deal with conflict demands imposed by supervisors and the administration . Role conflict of this kind maybe be obvious when dealing with critically ill patients. One of the most common areas this happens in is the intensive care unit. As a nurse I will be expected to work long hours especially if more help is needed. Especially, in the hospital is required to work a full 12 hour shift. Some places are more demanding than others on nurses. Whatever the challenges whole in the future I am ready. The long hours maybe emotionally and physically exhausting,but it is rewarding
