Is it true that the CALIFORNIA VOTERS will not exactly have the same affect as others?

Traditionally California goes to the Democrats by a large margin so and because the U.S. elections go by the electoral college, not the popular vote, a single vote for or against Obama typically won't make that much of a difference. But that's pretty much the same in every state that isn't considered a swing state.
