To join another branch, or not join at all?

I think that's pretty shitty that he wouldn't negotiate and join a branch together. Though I don't know the story therefor shouldn't act like I do. I would imagine it being very difficult for the baby and for each other being in different branches. I would say, since he doesn't seem to want to be a little supportive and negotiate, then you have to be extra supportive and just keep your job and follow him.
