I think an elective cl would be cool. I took a cl in college anthropology for ancient civilizations, UFOs and other unexplained phenomenom. Science is the search for truth based on theories, which have been proven to an extent. Most scientists are very closed minded. That is if they haven't learned it or can't experiment on it then it must not be true. I think a successful scientist should be open minded. Being open minded is what led to all of our current understandings anyway. A cl like you are proposing could never be taught as a science cl because there is no theory behind it, no proof, no explanation. I think presenting alternative info to students would be good though because it could lead to the next generation discovering something that is currently beyond our realm.
