Choosing a book for a novel study, serious help?

I am 15, in grade 11, and will be igned a novel study in my English cl this year. We will have to give a presentation on it. To give you a sense of my interests, my heroes are Friedrich Nietzsche, Karl Marx, Richard Feynman, Albert Einstein, and Leonardo da Vinci. The only books I have ever read twice are Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Siddhartha, and The Gl Bead Game, the first by Nietzsche and the last two by Hermann Hesse. I want to go for the "wow" factor, to present a piece of work that has real modern significance to my clroom and the world at large, and is radical enough to invoke a sense of fear and awe from my peers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
